Our hearts go out to those impacted by the fires in Los Angeles County. We’ve curated a list of online resources to help those looking for ways to support residents and businesses impacted by the fires.
In addition, find quick emergency preparedness reminders as emergencies can occur at any time. Stay informed about critical updates by signing up for emergency alerts, following the City’s news feeds and updates, subscribing to Police Everbridge/Nixle. Have an emergency plan at home, and emergency kits for your home, car and at work.

Donation-Focused Organizations
- American Red Cross: Donate to the Wildfire Relief Fund at the American Red Cross.
- CAL FIRE Benevolent Foundation: CAL FIRE Benevolent Foundation provides financial aid to firefighters and their families in case of injury or loss of life. The organization also helps support burn victims and their families, along with research focused on firefighter health and safety.
- California Community Foundation: The California Community Foundation Wildfire Recovery Fund targets the most underserved and hard-to-reach communities in the region, with the goal of helping provide long-term recovery relief.
- The California Community Fund: Recovery fund dedicated to helping victims of wildfires.
- California Fire Foundation: The California Fire Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, provides critical support to surviving families of fallen firefighters, firefighters, and the communities they serve. Your tax-deductible donation will help them provide aid to victims of wildfires or other natural disasters through their Wildfire & Disaster Relief programs.
- Convoy of Hope: Convoy of Hope is collecting donations to provide immediate relief for victims in California.
- Direct Relief: Donate to Direct Relief’s California Fire Relief, which provides N-95 masks, medicine, and resources to health-care agencies and first responders in areas affected by wildfires.
- Friends in Deed: Donate to Friends in Deed, a nonprofit providing services for the homeless, as it opens its Bad Weather Shelter amid the fires.
- GoFundMe: Donate to the GoFundMe Wildfire Relief Fund 2025.
- Los Angeles Economic Development Corporation:Offers details on business and resident resources for those impacted by the fires and ways to support, plus public information resources.
- Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation: The Los Angeles Fire Department Foundation is asking for financial donations to provide needed supplies to firefighters in L.A. County such as emergency fire shelters, hydration backpacks, and wildland brush tools.
- The Salvation Army: Currently accepting donations through the Emergency Disaster Fund to help meet the urgent need across Southern California. Monetary donations to directly aid the region can be made online.
- United Way of Ventura County: Parts of Ventura County have been impacted by the Kenneth fire. To donate to relief efforts in VC, click here.
- World Central Kitchen World Central Kitchen: The nonprofit global food relief organization founded by celebrity chef José Andrés is on the ground in Southern California to aid first responders and evacuees.
Animal Support & Foster Services
- The Canine Rescue Club: A volunteer-driven organization dedicated to rescuing dogs and giving them a second chance at life. All donations are being directed to the Palisades Fire Canine Relief Fund, helping dogs impacted by the recent wildfires. Fill out their online form to apply to foster dogs displaced by the Los Angeles wildfires.
- Pasadena Humane: Pasadena Humane is caring for numerous animals displaced by the Eaton fire and is in desperate need of supplies. While direct monetary donations are the most helpful, the organization also has an Amazon wishlist. If you are interested in fostering a displaced pet, email foster@pasadenahumane.org.
- Pets In Need: Our own local Pets In Need is involved in supporting animals impacted in the LA fires. For ways to support, go here.
- Rover.Com (Article): How to protect your dog from wildfire smoke and poor air quality. Resources and tips on how to care for your furry loved ones’ health and safety. Plus, side effects to look out for and fun alternative indoor activities.
- San Diego Humane Society: The San Diego Humane Society has been evacuating and sheltering animals from the fires in Los Angeles. The organization is asking for volunteer fosters who can house some of the animals on a temporary basis.
Mental Health & Wellness
- Headspace: Headspace has free guided meditations for anxiety, grief, crisis support, and more.
Shelter & Direct Support Services
- Airbnb: Airbnb is supporting hosts who wish to provide shelter to fire victims.
- Dream Center: This L.A.-based charitable organization is offering emergency shelter to those evacuated in the Palisades and Eaton Canyon Fires.
- YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles: Locations unaffected by fires are offering evacuation sites, temporary shelter, basic amenities, and showers. They are also offering free childcare for children of first responders, essential workers, and families displaced, evacuated, or otherwise impacted by the fires. Supplies & Essential Items
- Baby2Baby: Providing critical items, including diapers, food, formula and hygiene products for children and families who have lost their homes to the fires. You can donate online to the organization’s Disaster Relief and Emergency Response Program.
- Babyletto: The LA-based nursery furniture brand is providing cribs to any families who have lost their homes or otherwise impacted by the fires. For more information, contact info@babyletto.com.
- Los Angeles Food Bank: The Los Angeles Food Bank is accepting food, non-food essentials, and monetary donations for displaced residents.
